Why Adam Writes
The poems in Walking With My Angel are letters - between Adam and his Angel. They're full of light, love, grit, healing, and gratitude. Walking With My Angel is Adam's second book of poems, written for anyone who’s ever felt alone or overwhelmed, for those searching for meaning, and for those open to grace.
Each poem carries a message. Each one is a conversation of the heart.
From Adam - "Our struggles aren't identical, yours and mine, but I know we all have them. And I know each of us has help. My hope is that my words remind you that you are not alone.
"I wrote Embattled We: A Poet's War over years and years of struggle and choosing each day to give life another shot. This typically happened when I had no desire to give it another shot. I did so anyway. Most often, writing poetry was how I kept breathing. I'm grateful that I did."
